Dexter

To meet Dexter is to love Dexter! He is two years of age, a big sturdy boy. Dexter had a terrible staph infection when he came to us last year, which we battled for months. He is on the mend but shows a few scars of his infection.

This handsome boy is very sweet and affectionate, loves his toys and is comfortable in his crate with the door open. After being in a boarding facility for a few months, his house manners need some work as he is tall enough to reach anything on kitchen counters. When he is corrected, you get a big Dobie smile!

Dexter currently lives with two small dogs and was exposed to cats in his former life. He likes older children and people. He is a playful boy and enjoys showing off his toys but will not give them to you! A doggy playmate and loving family will make all the difference for this boy.
